I’m starting to get booked for spring and summer….meanwhile…some more of my children

Things are moving quickly now when spring kicks in and I’ll be busy probably every weekend.  So I am going to take this moment to post more pictures of my own children, in our front and backyard!    Shooting my own kids also lets me experiment with different post processing effects in Photoshop.   As most of you probably know by now, photographs aren’t coming out of the camera looking like this ;P

What’s fun for me is to make the photos a little modern vintage.  In general, I don’t process my client’s photos this way but stay with more “normal” colors but if you like the vintage look, feel free to ask me to fix that for your photos!

My blog has been a bit neglected since I moved and started renovating our new house!    But I wanted to share a few with you all.

Green green grass…spring is finally really here

Look at that baby fresh green grass, I’ve been looking forward to this all winter.  We like to keep our grass a little longer, and watch the wild flowers grow.

Green and reds are a wonderful combination, don’t you think?   And a happy almost 1 year old girl, a spring baby herself, who just started walking, took a little break and luckily, I was there.

And off she goes!

My little boy is truly obsessed with anything on wheels, including his tricycle which he can’t really use it but he scoots around with it. Too cute.

A Friendly Face

I am without doubt spoiled by having the most adorable little “models” living in my own house – my children! Here’s my 2.5 year old son. Now that doesn’t happen often, it’s an age when kids just won’t stay still too long. But it’s possible! I just “stalk” him around.

I bought a new lens for portraits, although indoors I will probably still use the 35 f2 the most. My new 85mm is really sweet though! It was a little warmer today but it was still snow on the ground. My baby girl doesn’t like snow much so we didn’t stay out for long.
