Things are moving quickly now when spring kicks in and I’ll be busy probably every weekend. So I am going to take this moment to post more pictures of my own children, in our front and backyard! Shooting my own kids also lets me experiment with different post processing effects in Photoshop. As most of you probably know by now, photographs aren’t coming out of the camera looking like this ;P
What’s fun for me is to make the photos a little modern vintage. In general, I don’t process my client’s photos this way but stay with more “normal” colors but if you like the vintage look, feel free to ask me to fix that for your photos!

Gorgeous Baby Girl
This is a session from a couple of weeks ago, since I’ve been so busy with my website, I haven’t posted as much here. But I just HAVE to share this gorgeous baby girl. Just look at those lashes!
The session was at Millbrook Marsh, and it turned out quite well as a location!
Look at that baby fresh green grass, I’ve been looking forward to this all winter. We like to keep our grass a little longer, and watch the wild flowers grow.
Green and reds are a wonderful combination, don’t you think? And a happy almost 1 year old girl, a spring baby herself, who just started walking, took a little break and luckily, I was there.
And off she goes!

Finally something springy!
Can you smell it too? Fresh grass. Tulips…cherry blossoms.. I love this season. It’s too short though!
Little miss enjoyed Friday in her summer dress too.

My little toughie
My daughter got a little scratch from a kitty on her cheek. I thought about removing it in photoshop but then I decided to take advantage of the situation instead. I know…thinking like a photographer! She got plenty of Neosporin and love, believe me. I took these photos the day after the incident. isn’t she just so cute.

A quick snapshot of my girl
ISO 1000 (one thousand). I liked how this one turned out, I can see some grain but it’s film-like. Love it!
