Beach family session at Fort Macon, NC. Storyboards/Collage

My clients are saying they have problems picking out pictures from their sessions because they like them all.  But most people don’t want to put 35, or so, pictures on a wall. So recently I sat down and made sure all of my templates were made available in my photo cart.

It makes it very easy for my clients to pick one and then add on which photos they want to use, and then place the order, along with their other prints. Without having to email me back and forth!   I love this process, and the past two days, I sold FIVE 10×20 collages.   They do take about an hour to put together, but I don’t charge extra for it.  In general, I avoid “extra fees” because it makes life more complicated, and I don’t think we need more of that.

Here’s two of the collages I’ve made so far,

More of David

These are my personal favorites of my friend’s session yesterday. It was pretty late, between 5.30-7pm but they came out pretty well anyway (thanks to my superb camera!)  My son decided to help with the posing of their family portrait!

Litte David

I’ve been looking forward to do this session with 7 month old David, we decided to wait until he could sit up and he’s now sturdy as can be. It was a lot of fun and David was a good sport, the beginning in always a bit strange for them but I started out with some casual shots with him and mommy first.

Now here’s a look I really like, but I may be alone with that….haha.. I have found out a way to make babies look like they really mean business. I think it’s an awesome look. “Who did you call punk…”

Born a Penn-Stater

My son loves to watch the mail-truck and he struck a perfect pose, I couldn’t believe my eyes.

Boys, bikes, and wheels.

My little boy is truly obsessed with anything on wheels, including his tricycle which he can’t really use it but he scoots around with it. Too cute.

A Friendly Face

I am without doubt spoiled by having the most adorable little “models” living in my own house – my children! Here’s my 2.5 year old son. Now that doesn’t happen often, it’s an age when kids just won’t stay still too long. But it’s possible! I just “stalk” him around. ;-)

Kids = Life = Color

As stylish monochromatic images can be, I love working with color when all things fall into place. Here there are no distracting objects of colors that would subtract the focus on the subject and the colors basically jumps out at you. And I can’t think about anything more livelier than toddlers.
