Discounts for my wedding readers
My clients are saying they have problems picking out pictures from their sessions because they like them all. But most people don’t want to put 35, or so, pictures on a wall. So recently I sat down and made sure all of my templates were made available in my photo cart.
It makes it very easy for my clients to pick one and then add on which photos they want to use, and then place the order, along with their other prints. Without having to email me back and forth! I love this process, and the past two days, I sold FIVE 10×20 collages. They do take about an hour to put together, but I don’t charge extra for it. In general, I avoid “extra fees” because it makes life more complicated, and I don’t think we need more of that.
Here’s two of the collages I’ve made so far,

June wedding
I second shoot with the amazingly talented local Beaufort wedding photographer, Scott Taylor. It’s such a privilidge to shoot with someone that has 20+ years of experience. If you book a large wedding with him, you get me as an extra bonus
Anyway, you want to see pictures, right? Here’s a few.

Hello beach goers! Welcome to the Outer Banks and the Crystal Coast. The water is already warm, and the surf is right. The weather is….well, a little finicky. It can rain, storm, be sunny, a clear – all on the same day!
I have had increased inquiries of beach sessions each week and I have noticed that many clients contact me the same week they are staying at the beach in their rentals. You know I would love to photograph your beach portraits! However, if it is possible, it would be best if you try to find your photographer a couple of weeks ahead. I try to allott TWO days during the week for your session, one that will act as a back-up, in case the weather doesn’t cooperate. Also, it’s easier to plan ahead and find you a good location for your particular needs, but also it’s to make sure I’m actually available that week. Thanks and I see you out there!
I am sure many of you have heard of the trash-the-wedding dress, which basically is a very creative and fun session where the bride plays around in her dress, in an urban setting or at the beach…as in laying on the beach..in the water!
Anyway, we can do a similar thing with the prom dress as well! Talk about getting unique pictures to show your friends!
Get in contact with me soon, the first 3 trash-the-prom dress sessions recieves one set of cards with a special design!
Product changes
My previous price table didn’t work out so well for me, in other words, it wasn’t profitable. I provide to my clients excellent service and attention to details, and deliver Fine art portraiture, which I love doing! Keep in mind, that I spend about on average 15-20 hours on each client, sometimes even more.
My session fee is still only $100, at least for the rest of the year. 4 x 6 prints won’t be available a la carte anymore, but you can still get a few poses in 4 x 6 by purchasing one of my pre-made collections. I also raised the price on the 5 x 7 and 8 x 10 but I am keeping the wall prints current prices.
You are also always welcome to purchase all the digital high resolution files of all the proofs, which gives you an incredibly freedom!
Please contact me if you are interested in the full details of the changes I’ve made, and I’ll emaily you a PDF file. Thanks to all those who already sent me requests and inquiries.
I hope I see you out there! Summer is almost here, don’t wait too long to request your date!
Revamping my products
Currently I’m having my pricing and products scrutinized, and will do some major changes in the future. I will announce when those changes take place.
Meanwhile, keep come back to my blog to check out more updates!
Things are moving quickly now when spring kicks in and I’ll be busy probably every weekend. So I am going to take this moment to post more pictures of my own children, in our front and backyard! Shooting my own kids also lets me experiment with different post processing effects in Photoshop. As most of you probably know by now, photographs aren’t coming out of the camera looking like this ;P
What’s fun for me is to make the photos a little modern vintage. In general, I don’t process my client’s photos this way but stay with more “normal” colors but if you like the vintage look, feel free to ask me to fix that for your photos!

A few recent captures….
Thanks for all the praise on my new website, I really appreciate it.
My blog has been a bit neglected since I moved and started renovating our new house! But I wanted to share a few with you all.
