Another joke!

As a digital photographer,  I spend about 10-15 hours per client doing editing, uploading, sorting, downloading and emailing back and forth.

So I thought it was appropriate to share this joke:

“MY LIVING WILL
Last night my husband and I were sitting in the family room. I said to him,
‘I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine,
and fluids from a bottle to keep me alive. That would be no quality
of life at all. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.’

So he got up, unplugged the computer, and threw out my wine.”

A beautiful teen – Senior session

It feels really weird calling a Seventeen old “Senior”.   Heck, I’m about twice the senior than a 17 year old.

Either way, it was a nice experience to photograph someone that stands still and follows instructions for a change!   On top of it all, she’s very photogenic and I enjoy playing with the photos in Photoshop.

Here’s some of my favorites:

I am accepting bookings for fall/winter/spring! Fun and Colorful!

Hey y’all, I just wanted to make it clear that I am now accepting bookings from clients in the Atlantic Beach, Morehead City, Pine Knoll Shores, Beaufort and all over the Carteret County area!

I will give my first 10 high school Seniors a complementary 8×10 print, along with one set of Wallets!

Here is my vision:  Instead of doing the standard, kind of boring, all wearing white on the beach, I want to see the family members wearing either different shades of pastel – or different shirts in prime colors!

Such as, daddy wearing baby blue, mommy purple, daughter pink, son apple green…or in whatever combination.  I want it to be fun!  Sparkle with color in all that light colored beach sand!   Make your photo stand out a little, colors are in!

I also plan to purchase a special basket(s) to use for placing babies in, I recently did a baby-in-basket session and boy, did he like it.     Also, lets not forget that a child’s room or the parents bed or couch could be a perfect place to have a nice, candid & lifestyle portrait created!     There’s many nooks and crannies in a house that I can make a shoot work, as long as there’s at least two or three different props/location.

Parks works very well to have a session at, even a field with tall grass makes for creative and exciting portraits.

For high school Seniors I plan to execute the shoot in the Urban style, with textures, old cars, old run-down locations….. funky old houses….you name it, it’s all about you and what you as a Teen like.   I want to you dress up, in your prom dress…. or in an old pair of jeans, with a glamorous top.  It’s about making the location and the subject to create a contrast of interest!   If you are into music – bring your guitar or whatever it is you like to your session, or if you are into sports – bring your gear and we’ll work from there.

Can you tell I’m excited?  I’m really excited about moving to a new location and get to know my new clients and their families.

I will be able to start doing some photographs for you around September 15th!  So head over to my website www.lindazelnio.com right now and check it out, and contact me if you want to  book with me.

Thanks!

Update on our move

Okay,  my husband returned – tired of course.  He looked  at 28 houses in a few days, and drove 10 hours straight.  I don’t even want to think about how long it will take with two small kids.  Thankfully, about halfway there – Washington, D.C – we can do an overnight at my brother-in-law.

However, I got informed that his employment will start on September 1st, so we’re actually already moving in about 3 weeks.   I had two sessions today, and I cannot book any other sessions – unless you are in the Outer Banks and want some Halloween pictures of course!
