That didn’t take long! I’m very excited to have been able to get so many referals to my work from friends and clients. However, I am now completely full booked in June so I can only take on more bookings for July.

On July 1st, I will introduce a session fee and also raise my print prices by 50%, for all prints.
My goal is to have near the same prices as my current competitors, which does not include the Mall “fast-photo” services, since they offer a very different type of photography service.
When you use a customized portrait photographer, the fee goes toward the time to do the shoot, the travel, the downloading and sorting out of photos, the edit of the proofs, and also the final perfection edits of your ordered photos. It’s a work that all in all takes many days up to a week.
I have ordered a website which I really look forward to work on and customize, and make it as pretty as can be!! Woohoo, my first real website!
My June bookings are the following dates: June 1st, June 5th, a newborn in the middle of the month, June 23rd and then June 28th. There’s also a couple of unconfirmed bookings in June. If I take on too many, I’m afraid I will loose out on quality control.

Friday’s session was my most challenging one so far, with 3 kids under age 5. But, it’s experience which I gain under my belt! This work isn’t for the faint-hearted. (Or unfit! – I got a good work-out too). Thank you guys for the fun session!
Above I used a special Vintage treatment which was developed by a friend of mine, it’s available for any photo of my clients choice!
Wohoo! My son did his first potty duty today, with some bribary of firetruck and dumptruck stickers. It’s the funniest thing, he’s sitting on the potty and goes “ooh no..oh no!” like it’s a bad thing. I keep giving him high fives and cheering him on. It deserves a celebration of left over cheesecake! 
My husband’s cousin’s little son, Owen, came for a visit while we were in the Midwest. Such a little cutie, 7 months old. Seems like everyone I know has 7 month old babies!
I’m running our space heathers since we didn’t buy more wood – we thought we wouldn’t need any more! Burr! Where is global warming when you need it?

We’re back home! It was so much fun, we had a great time up there by the Mississippi river in Illinois. Thanks grandma and grandpa, we really enjoyed our trip to the zoo, the children’s museum, the river, the pelicans, the food and the rest! Not to mention the birthday party, which was great.
Miss Birthday girl got plenty attention and a ton of pictures, and lots of clothes to model in (LOTS).
Hi everyone, I hope you get to enjoy your mother’s day – I’m going to fly with my kids for the first time (wish me luck) and will be going to Moline, IL for about a week. During this time, I will check my email about every day or every other day. But it depends on, so don’t fret – I will get back to you at some point!
When I’m returning, I am having booked sessions the following days in May:
May 23rd, May 24th, and May 27th.
I’m also booked June 1st. But I am willing to book in more sessions after June 1st! May 30th I’m attending a wedding and won’t be available and between May 27th and June 1st, I’m probably pretty busy editing photos. But please get in contact with me for June sessions! In July, we are possibly moving out of State but nothing is definate at this point.
