Kids = Life = Color
From this last Christmas – 2007
This is when my photography started to improve, due to two factors – We moved to a house, which has large windows. (Not to mention a huuuge backyard that I am looking forward to use in the spring, summer and fall). I also dived into a bunch of Photoshop tutorials. Taking the photos is just half the job – the other time is spent in Photoshop CS3 where I finalize and edit each photo that I consider to be a keeper. Here is one of my daughter, Freya. She is sitting in our living room and I used the only source of light that was available – the window.

Wow… the word passes on fast!
Thanks to my friends, the word of my new career is moving fast. I appreciate it! That also means I need to put up more photos, so you can see what I can do. Experience and practice makes me better, so I believe my newest work is always the best. Nowadays I am also shooting RAW which is a digital negative and doesn’t compress images like JPEG does.
Profiles count too
It’s easy to get stuck in a rut where you concentrate on getting head-on shots. But profiles can be just as interesting, especially to ourselves since we don’t see us at that angle.
Here’s two examples, a pretty classic portrait and one where the posture tells a story.

Here is where I will post my best and newest work of my own kids and clients. Enjoy!
